The modern room overlooked the quiet neighborhood and the bay, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of fieldwork.The breakfast spread was impressive, catering to various dietary needs, which was a bonus for me as I have a keen interest in sustainable seafood dining. The convenience of having a restaurant connected to the hotel meant I could enjoy the local cuisine without braving the unpredictable weather outside.However, as someone who values both luxury and practicality, I found the room layout lacking, with insufficient space to move comfortably. The lighting issues were a minor inconvenience, but they did detract from the overall experience.In terms of value, Quality Hotel Prinsen offers a good balance between cost and luxury. While there are some room for improvement in terms of room layout and maintenance, the friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and convenient location make it a solid choice for travelers seeking a comfortable stay in the heart of the scenic surroundings of the fjord.
